PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic reception system in open lid for foldable cell phones which simply opens a lid to turn to a receive state ready for communication on incoming. SOLUTION: The foldable cell phone 10 is composed of a main body 11 having a controller, an operating unit 12, a receive button 13, a mail button 15, a power button 14, a function key 16, a microphone 17, an antenna, etc., a lid 18 having a display 19, a speaker 20, etc., a hinge 21 for foldably linking the body 11 with the lid 18, and lid opening (closing) detector switches 22, 23, etc. for detecting the open (open-close) state of the lid 18 from the body 11.
