PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alloy magnetic thin film such as that of FePt capable of controlling a saturation magnetic field without having a ferromagnetic connection between adjoining particulates, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In this polarizable magnetic thin film structure, a non-magnetic layer that does not cause a ferromagnetic polarization is arranged on the surface of the alloy magnetic thin film for magnetic recording media. The alloy magnetic thin film consists of magnetically isolated ultrafine particulates, and the interface of the alloy magnetic thin film with the non-magnetic layer is an irregular phase, while other parts than the interface are regular phase.
