PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine which can offer a treatment of lower legs of a user in a seating condition, has a high degree of freedom and high precision concerning a pressure angle and a pressure position with respect to the lower legs, and on which the user can sit in a free posture without being disturbed. SOLUTION: The chair type massage machine 1 provides a legrest 4 equipped with a supporting part 7 which supports the lower legs 22 of the user to be treated, and treating parts 8 which are retractable to pressure the user's lower legs 22. The support part 7 comprises erecting parts 9 at both sides in a right and left direction, which are retractable so as to erect inward in the right and left direction. The treatment parts 8 are arranged in the erecting parts 9. When the erecting parts 9 and the treatment parts 8 are moved backward, an approximately flat face is formed by the erecting parts 9, the support part 7 at an inner side in the right and left direction, and the treatment parts 8.
