[Also in Division G3] The parent Specification relating to an automatic deceleration control system wherein an A.C. voltage proportional to wheel speed is differentiated at C5, R7 (Fig. 1) to provide a voltage which neutralizes the standing positive D.C. bias on transistor T3 at a predetermined value of deceleration whereby a brake control relay is energized, is modified by reversing the polarity of the standing D.C. bias or transistor T3, so that the control relay reduces the power supply at a predetermined value of acceleration. The current in the base-emitter circuit of input transistor T1 may be the alternate half-cycle as shown, or each half-cycle, replacing R1, D1 by a full-wave bridge rectifier (Fig. 2, not shown), or it may be cut off after a predetermined number of cycles as determined by a diode pump circuit including capacitors 14, 15 and diodes 16, 17 (Fig. 3). |
