EXHAUST AIR FILTER OF WET ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SYSTEM IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress thermal deformation of a filtering apparatus case due to an oxidizing catalyst filter operating in the state of high temperature.

SOLUTION: An exhaust air filter of wet type electrophotographic system image forming apparatus is provided with: a heater 122 which is connected with a power source section of the image forming apparatus and emits heat; the oxidizing catalyst filter 121 which is provided adjacent to the heater 122 so that heat is transferred from the heater 122, on which chemical reaction with exhaust air containing carrier components evaporated at a fixing unit is carried out and which filters the exhaust air; the filter case 123 in which the heater 122 and the oxidizing catalyst filter 121 are arranged; the filtering apparatus case 124 in which the filter cases 123 are provided by being away from each other at a prescribed intervals to form an air passage where external air flows in/out to cool the filter case 123; and a heat emission device which connects the filter case 123 with the filtering apparatus case 124 and radiates heat transferred from the heater 122.
