PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared lamp, which heats an object uniformly by making the radiation range in the length direction of the infrared lamp wider than the length of a heating element or heats the object locally, by making the radiation range narrower than the length of the heating element and the radiation intensity increased, and to provide a heating apparatus which uses the infrared lamp, a method for manufacturing the heating element, and a method for manufacturing the infrared lamp. SOLUTION: The infrared lamp has a curved glass tube, which is in a shape extendable in the length direction and, the ends of which have tangent lines making intersection angle of 2 degrees or larger, and one or a plurality of the heating elements which are sealed in the glass tube and have flexibility for being curved along the glass tube.
