PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavating blade for reducing manufacturing and construction costs, without impairing cutting capacity even when used over a long period, in the excavating blade used when driving a steel pipe pile in the ground and excavating the ground by being installed on the lower end of the steel pipe pile. SOLUTION: This excavating blade constitutes a cylindrical base material 11 installable on the lower end of the steel pipe pile P; embeds a long size bit 12 at a predetermined interval at a predetermined angle inside the base material 11; and excavates the ground by exposing the lower end of the bit 12 from the base material 11 in excavation.
