PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a table wherein the top board can stably be supported while keeping a sufficient strength and rigidity over the whole of the top board, and the top board can be made thinner, and in addition, the structure is simple and has a good appearance. SOLUTION: A square frame body 2 on a plan view is formed by connecting the front end sections and the rear end sections of a pair of frame rods 6 and 6 facing the longitudinal direction with each other by front and rear frame rods 7 and 7 facing the transverse direction. At respective corner sections of the frame body 2, corner members 15 and 16 having an extended section 17 which extends outside from the corner sections are fitted and fixed, and the frame body and the corner members are approximately horizontally supported by a supporting body 5. And the top board 1 of which the dimensions in the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction are made larger than those of the frame body 2 is attached in such a manner that respective corner sections may be located above the extended sections of respective corner members.
