The device has a connecting unit (132) that is linked to an air inlet (22) and an end (130a) of a flexible restraining unit (130). A connecting unit (134) has primary and secondary assemblies (140, 142) linked to a shroud (26) and an end (130b) of the unit (130) respectively. The air inlet has an upstroke movement causing deformation of the flexible unit and pivoting of the shroud around a connection pivot (144). An independent claim is also included for an aircraft.
