<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin sheet having excellent heat resistance and strength, high transmittance and a light diffusing function. <P>SOLUTION: The particle dispersed resin sheet contains an epoxy resin having a polysulfite skeleton and a light diffusing agent having a refractive index different from that of the epoxy resin and unevenly dispersed in the thickness direction. The particle dispersed resin sheet is produced by spreading a coating liquid containing the above polysulfite type epoxy resin and the light diffusing agent on a substrate, settling or suspending the light diffusing agent in the spread layer and then hardening the layer to unevenly disperse the light diffusing agent in the thickness direction.
