PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pad for a floor polishing machine devised to polish a floor surface so that the floor surface looks like a mirror surface and as if the floor surface were wet, without leaving crescent marks made by the rotation of the pad on the floor surface in polishing the floor surface with the pad rotated at high speed by a motor. SOLUTION: 100% cotton yarn 3W is planted on a base cloth 3V in a length of 12-16 mm from the surface of the base cloth to make a fiber layer 3VT. A felt material 3R is banked on the rear side of the base cloth 3V by sewing. The weight of the planted cotton yarn 3W per pad area is 0.12-0.19 g/cm2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
