PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the rigidity of a drill body high in a drill where a cartridge fitted with a throw-away tip having a chamfering blade is mounted on a recessed part formed on the outer periphery of a knife edge part. SOLUTION: In this drill, the cartridge 40 fitted with the throw-away tip 60 having the chamfering blade 61 for chamfering the peripheral edge of an opening part of a working hole formed by cutting of cutting blades 21, 21 is mounted on the recessed part 30 formed on the outer periphery of the rear end part of the knife edge part 12. When the cartridge 40 is mounted on the recessed part 30, the wall surface 66 pointing toward the inner peripheral side in the radial direction in the throw-away tip 60 is made closely adhere to the wall surface 32 pointing the outer peripheral side in the radial direction in the recessed part 30.
