PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a nanoscale binarization information recording technique which exceeds the limit of storage capacity in the conventional recording media, using micrometer-level binarization information recording techniques. SOLUTION: A high-density recording medium comprises a fullerene/carbon nanotube complex (peapod), comprising a single-wall carbon nanotube in which fullerenes are inserted in series.
