PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GPS-incorporated digital camera that alarms a user of approach to a destination by using a GPS. SOLUTION: The GPS-incorporated digital camera equipped with a camera processing part 101 which photographs an image, a GPS part 102 which obtains position information on a current position, an area name recognition part 103 which recognizes the area name of a goal position from the image obtained by the camera processing part, and an area name position conversion part 104 which acquires position information from the area name, is configured to compare the goal position obtained by the area name position conversion part 104 with the position information on the current position obtained by the GPS part 102 and give notice (106, 107) when the current position enters a specified range around the goal position.
