PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maze game teaching tool which uses magnets and enables the user to directly and fully understand the nature of the magnets, without immediately become bored with the game. SOLUTION: The maze game teaching tool includes a game board 10, consisting of a transparent container which is made of a synthetic resin and is internally formed with a maze 11, a disk-shaped moving piece 20 equipped with a permanent magnet 21 moving along the maze 11, and a joystick 30 which is equipped with a permanent magnet 31 at the front end that operates the moving piece 20. Also, the maze game teaching tool is provided with a plurality of obstructions (wall sections 12b and 13b, holes 14 and 15, and a baffle 16) which become obstacles, when the moving piece 20 moves in the maze 11. The maze game teaching tool is so constituted that the device for moving the moving piece 20 along the maze 11, while avoiding obstructions (or climbing over the obstructions) by operating the joystick 30 from the outside of the game board 10 and skillfully using the attraction and repulsion generated between the permanent magnets 21 and 31 is demanded.
