PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method assessing noise release from electric motors, by measuring the sound pressure using an easy and accurate method. SOLUTION: This measuring method is of an assessing technique of undesired noise release from electric motors, where the vibrational excitation of rotating electric motors is measured by a laser vibrometer system, and then the measured vibrational excitation is correlated with the noise levels.
