PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection port forming frame for inspecting the reverse side of a wall without impairing an aesthetic appearance in a room. SOLUTION: This inspection port forming frame 2 has a frame body 5 inserted into a wall hole 1a bored on the wall 1 facing the inside of the room, a screw member 6 supported by its frame body 5, and a sandwiching piece 7. The frame body 5 has a front opening 5a capable of inserting hands of a person and facing the indoor side, and a rear opening 5b on the opposite side. The frame body 5 has a collar part 5c opposed from the surface side to a peripheral edge part of the wall hole 1a. A decorative cover 3 for covering the front opening 5a is detachably installed on the frame body 5. The sandwiching piece 7 can be displaced to a first position unopposed to a reverse surface 1b of the wall 1 and a second position opposed to the reverse surface 1b, and sandwiches the wall 1 by the sandwiching piece 7 and the collar part 5c by advancing forward by the rotational movement of the screw member 6 in the second position.
