PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn made of a new aromatic amide block copolymer, having softness and excellent stretchability, keeping a constant stretchiness independent of ambient temperature and having excellent heat-resistance and chlorine resistance. SOLUTION: The yarn is made of an aromatic amide block copolymer composed of a repeating unit expressed by general formula (1) and having a standard polystyrene equivalent number-average molecular weight of 10,000-1,000,000 measured by gel permeation chromatography.
