PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric for bedding side fabrics, lighter and thinner than conventional ones, low in air permeability and flexural rigidity. SOLUTION: The woven fabric for bedding side fabrics comprises synthetic fiber multifilaments consisting of modified cross-section yarns with a modified cross-section degree of 2-7. This woven fabric has a basis weight of 15-45 g/m<SP>2</SP>, an air permeability of 0.3-1.5 cc/(cm<SP>2</SP>s) and a flexural rigidity of 0.001 (gf cm<SP>2</SP>)/cm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
