PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight change link rod and a motorcycle employing the same. SOLUTION: The change link rod 12 is provided to transmit the operational quantity of a change pedal (P) to a change mechanism (15) between the change mechanism (15) to operate a transmission device and the change pedal (P), and formed of a hollow tubular member. A screw part 12B as a connection means to the change mechanism side is integrated with one end thereof, and another screw part 12A as a connection means to the change pedal side is integrated with the other end thereof.
