<p>The method involves fixing an aerodynamic protruding unit (14) on a lateral aerodynamic surface (6G) of a rudder (4), to generate an aerodynamic effect for revolving the rudder around a hinge line (8). An actuator of the rudder is controlled, so that the actuator prevents the action of the unit (14) and places the rudder in a trimmed position when a fixed vertical tail (3) is in aerodynamic extension. An independent claim is also included for an aircraft provided with a rudder.</p> |
