The detection device includes a sensor device which has a fixed sensor element outside the region of the fluid and a movable sensor element inside this region. The movement of the measuring rod (13), which has a thread (14) in its longitudinal direction, is turned forcibly through an angle which is detected without contact by the fixed sensor element.
