The invention relates to an engine condition indicating device for a vehicle, in particular a boat, for indicating an engine condition data value at an indication section and to a boat equipped therewith. The invention aims to provide an improved engine condition indicating device which provides a more reliable indication of an engine's condition of different types of engines. Therefore, the invention provides that being configured to automatically adapt to different types of engines and a boat equipped therewith.
