Method for fulfilling prescriptions uses a computer and a display to give details of the medicine and where and to whom it should be sent. These are verified and, if correct, the details are stored and the medicine is dispatched. If they do not seem to be correct the details are stored, but the medicine is not dispatched. A second verification follows and this is satisfactory the medicine is then dispatched and, if not, dispatch is still not carried out.
