<p>Friction material is spread from a dispenser (5) in a vehicle (2) in a patch like and/or strip like pattern to form an uneven friction surface. The material used is e.g. water (4) containing additives to make it gelatinous, and is under-cooled before being pressure sprayed onto the road surface. The exhaust pipe (9) of the vehicle can be used to supply heat to the dispenser via a bypass (10) if necessary. An independent claim is also included for an apparatus used for preventing the slipperiness of a roadway.</p> |
