To produce aluminum strip with a texturized surface, strip (12) is cold rolled and, directly after leaving cold rolling stand (17) in direction (x) of strip travel, it passes through gap between two rollers with rough mantle surfaces e.g. of ridges, before winding into roll (34). Rollers at surface treatment assembly (28) are pressed against aluminum strip surface to texturize it by pressure. |
