<p>The platform is for installation above water and is mounted on hollow support legs, which are closed at the top and open at the bottom. The operative platform (1) has a deck (2) supported by the legs (3,3') open at the top and closed at the bottom. The water level (4,4') can enter the open bottoms of the legs. Above the water level in the legs, a fluid pressure is formed, calculated for the support of the platform part resting on the leg in question. The fluid pressure is supplied by a pressure vessel or an air chamber, with which the pressure of the fluid above the water level in the leg is regulated. The pressure in each leg is thus controlled so that a virtually horizontally balanced state of the platform deck is achieved.</p> |
