Disclosed herein is a pharmaceutical composition comprising a synergistic combination of: (a) an amount of atorvastatin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; (b) an amount of ramipril or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and (c) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluent. These pharmaceutical compositions are suitable for use in the treatment of angina pectoris, atherosclerosis, combined hypertension and hyperlipidemia and in cardiac risk management.
