FIELD: experimental nuclear physics; investigating radioactive decay of some nuclei, as well as neutrons and other particles. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes measurement of count rate of decay products and flow of investigated substance through check-up zone. Count rate is measured by time intervals between detector signals. During measurements source substance flow is varied until repeatability of flow values and their compliance with detector sensitivity are obtained. ^ EFFECT: enhanced measurement accuracy. ^ 1 cl, 4 dwg |
