The setting tool (10) includes a safety device which has a temperature-sensitive servo mechanism having first and second positions when operational temperatures of a setting mechanism (12) are below and exceeds the predetermined threshold temperature and in which setting process of the setting tool can be and cannot be performed, respectively. The safety device prevents the setting process upon an operational temperature of the setting mechanism exceeding a predetermined threshold temperature.
