The device has nut and screw (24, 34) that cooperate with each other. The nut (24) is integrated with a belt line strap (10) and projects in the direction of a support e.g. body panel, of a motor vehicle (12). A guide receives the screw (34) and is inserted in an opening (20) traversing the support. The guide has a flange (36) projecting radially from opposite side and comes into contact against the support. An independent claim is also included for a support for fixation of a unit.
