The device has a coupling unit (10) with front and rear trunnions (14, 16). The trunnion (14) has two semi-trunnions (14a, 14b) disposed on respective sides of a vertical plane oriented along a longitudinal axis (5) of a jet-prop engine (2). Each semi-trunnion has a triangular shackle placed in a vertical plane oriented along a longitudinal direction (X) of the aircraft.
