PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasoline composition exhibiting an excellent fuel consumption efficiency by reducing inside friction in an engine. SOLUTION: The gasoline composition contains a carboxylic acid of 10-200 vol.ppm and an amine of 0.1-75 vol.ppm or their salt of 5-150 vol.ppm and whose research octane number (RON) is at least 89, RVP is 44-93 kPa, 50% distillation temperature is 75-110°C, E70 is 20-48, benzene content is not more than 1 vol.% and sulfur content is not more than 10 mass ppm.
