PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box for a bottle which is used for packing a bottle for wine, Japanese sake, juice, etc., and for protecting the bottle from being broken by various shocks during work such as delivery, transportation and transfer, and the cushioning material of which is handled as a usual combustible material and is eco-friendly. SOLUTION: This box for a bottle comprises a box body A, a top protective member 6 which is formed with a protective hole 6a surrounding the top of a bottle and whose outer periphery is square formed roughly in contact with the inside peripheral side face of the box A, a side face protective member 7 placed on the inside peripheral side face of the box A, and a bottom face protective member 8 placed on the bottom face of the box A.
