PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel capable of keeping the impact applied to the driver who abuts to the rim part of the steering wheel vigorously, at a proper level irrespective of the colliding position in the circumferential direction and precluding a large damage given to the driver. SOLUTION: The steering wheel is equipped with a boss part 10 fitted on the steering shaft, spoke parts 12 having communication with a ring-shaped rim part 11 grasped by the driver, and bending parts 17 to make bending locally with the action of a force in the direction approximately perpendicular to the rim part 11, whereby the spoke parts 12 make deformation accompanied by bending of the parts 17 when the driver abuts to the rim part 11 vigorously, and the impact applied to the driver is relieved.
