PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for fried food cooking for safely performing cooking immediately after supplying ingredients to a pot and uniformly frying the entire ingredients without any work during cooking. SOLUTION: The auxiliary tool 1 for fried food cooking is provided with a mesh member 11 and a holding part 12 which holds the mesh member 11 roughly horizontally inside the pot P1. Also, cooking using the auxiliary tool 1 for fried food cooking is performed by supplying the ingredients in an oblique lower direction so as to put the ingredients under the mesh member 11 in the state of installing the auxiliary tool 1 for fried food cooking at an end part inside the pot containing oil such that the mesh member 11 is arranged under an oil surface.
