COOLING SYSTEM FOR POWER CABLE IN CONDUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system for a power cable in a conduit, by which the power cable laid in the conduit can be cooled effectively.

SOLUTION: The cooling system for a power cable in a conduit is for cooling the power cable 12 laid in the conduit 11. A cooling liquid 15, which is composed of cooling water and a filler which should be increased in the viscosity to be mixed for increasing the viscosity of the cooling water, is sealed in the conduit 11. The cooling liquid absorbs the heat of the power cable and radiates the heat into the ground.
