PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network data processing system suitable for reducing a traffic amount and a time till first printout.

SOLUTION: A client device 100 generates print data configured by dividing data in each component constituting print contents, and transmits a print request including header information 402 to a printer 200. When the printer 200 receives the print request, the printer 200 analyzes the received print request to decide whether partial data necessary for the configuration of the print data are stored in a storage part 40 or not, acquires the insufficient partial data from the printer 200 having a small number of hops, stores the acquired partial data into the storage part 40, and constitutes the print data on the basis of the partial data of the storage part 40. The printer 200 retrieves the partial data from a storage part 16 according to an acquisition request, and transmits the retrieved partial data the a printer 200.
