PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a plastic lens reduced in the amount of foreign matter in the lens and having an ultraviolet absorbing function. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the plastic lens has a process for preliminarily preparing a solution containing a component (A) being a lens material monomer comprising diethylene glycol bisallylcarbonate being an essential component containing an ultraviolet absorber and a polymerization initiator and a component (B) being a solution containing a cobalt compound represented by CoO-Al2O3and/or Co-Al2O4and a process for filtering the component (A) by a first filter while filtering the component (B) by a second filter, a process for mixing the component (A) and the component (B) and a process for polymerizing the mixed liquid of the components (A) and (B).
