PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hysteresis comparator with a simple and highly practical configuration capable of surely preventing abnormal output vibration. SOLUTION: The hysteresis comparator is provided with: a comparator 1 for obtaining an inverted output Va in accordance with a comparison result between a set threshold value Vref and an input signal level Vin; an inverter 2 inversely operated in accordance with the output level Va of the comparator to change the threshold value Vref to be set to the comparator; and a Schmitt inverter 3 that receives the output level Va of the comparator and is inverted to an L level higher than the level of the inverted inverter and inverted to an H level lower than the level at which the inverter is inverted to provide an output signal Vout.
