PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet phone system corresponding to multimedia. SOLUTION: The Internet phone system (10) comprises: a plurality of IP phone terminals (A, B) which are mutually connected via an IP network (4); media servers (1, 2) which store media information with a channel as a unit and are connected in call to IP phone terminals (A, B) via the IP network (4); and an IP phone connection gateway (3) for allowing the IP phone terminals (A, B) to perform access to media information with the channel as a unit by connecting the IP phone terminals (A, B) to the media servers (1, 2) in call in the case of receiving a call connection request to the media servers (1, 2) by the IP phone terminals (A, B).
