PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal, wherein electric connection between cases is secured, without causing any hindrance to downsizing of the mobile terminal so as to handle data with high reliability and the electric connection part is not visible, even in an extended state of the mobile terminal. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal is structured, such that the first and second cases are connected in a slidable way to each other and relative sliding leads to the extended state or a contracted state. The first case is provided with a printed circuit board having a conductor pattern 31. The second case is provided with a terminal 36 that is in conductive contact with the conductor pattern 31 in a slidable way. A protective film 33 with elasticity is provided to the surface of the conductor pattern 31. A slit 34 along the slide direction between the first and second cases is formed on the protective film 33. The slit 34 is pushed open and the terminal 36 is inserted and brought into slide contact with the conductor pattern 31. Inclined parts 36a, 36b inclined in the slide direction, relative to the conductor pattern 31 in an oblique backward direction, are formed on the terminal 36. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
