PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security of the entire network. SOLUTION: The network system includes an information processing apparatus having a communication function by a packet, and a packet control apparatus provided between the information processing apparatus and a network and controlling packets to be transmitted from the information processing apparatus. The system further includes a filtering condition distributing means for transmitting predetermined packets for purposes of being received by the information processing apparatus, and a predetermined server to be accessed from the information processing apparatus via the packet control apparatus. The packet control apparatus is provided with a switch means for switching a packet transmission path between the information processing apparatus and the network, a limitation switching means for inputting the switching instruction into the switch means, a receiving means for receiving the predetermined packet to be transmitted from the filtering condition distributing means, and a setting means for setting the filtering condition.
