PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver circuit and method for providing reduced power consumption in driving a flat-panel display. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a source driver circuit and a method therefor for providing reduced power consumption in driving data lines of the flat-panel display, and a common voltage driver circuit and a method therefor for providing reduced power consumption in driving a common electrode of the flat-panel display. The source driver circuit and the method therefor for driving the data lines, and the common voltage driver circuit and the method therefor for driving the common electrode do not use only a completely boosted driving voltage to provide electric charge recycle by reducing the power consumption, but use each driving cycle intermediate reference voltage and the boosted driving voltage together.
