APPARATUS FOR MEASURING UNEVENNESS OF LENGTHY BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring the unevenness of a lengthy body, which measures the unevenness of a lengthy body of ten several meters such as a conductive steel rail for solid electric line with high precision. SOLUTION: This apparatus for measuring the unevenness of the conductive steel rail for solid electric line is constituted by: a measuring movable body 3 moving on a pair of linear rails 4 placed on a support base 6; a supporting table 5 arranging the conductive steel rail 1 for solid electric line in parallel with the linear rail 4 and supporting the conductive steel rail 1 for solid electric line sideways; a laser displacement meter 2 mounted on the measuring movable body 3, continuously measuring the conductive steel rail 1 for solid electric line from one end up to the other end, and outputting an unevenness displacement signal; a data processor 30 processing the unevenness displacement signal and outputting unevenness data containing the unevenness displacement of each unevenness wavelength of the conductive steel rail 1 for solid electric line; and an output device 40 recording or displaying the output signal of the data processor.
