PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation system for fully securing the amount of ventilation from the entire house without impairing the air-conditioning effect of a non-living room with air-conditioning operation already started. SOLUTION: In the ventilation system in which a ventilation means U2 to the non-living room is provided for ventilating a house constituting of a living room and a non-living room communicated with each other so that they can be ventilated, the ventilation operation of the non-living room starting air-conditioning operation is stopped and ventilation operation is made so that the amount of ventilation in an indirect communication non-living room becomes larger than that of a direct communication non-living room, when there are the direct communication non-living room communicating with the non-living room starting air-conditioning operation, where air-conditioning operation has been started, so that they can be directly ventilated, and the indirect communication non-living room that does not communicate with the non-living room starting air-conditioning operation so that they can be ventilated directly.
