PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and well efficient cooling and freezing device for air refrigerant. SOLUTION: Cooled air is supplied from an air cooling device 1 to a freezing device 3, where a cooled object 2 is freezed. The freezing device 3 has a duct 5 in which a carrier 4 is mounted. It is formed with the carrying direction thereof opposite to the flowing direction of the cooled air so that the cooled air flowing out of the freezing device 3 is returned to the air cooling device 1.
