PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side ditch block, which is excellent in workability as well as water-catchment and drainage for a drainage pavement. SOLUTION: The side ditch block to be buried in a road has a main body 2 provided with a drainage canal 3 formed therein along a longitudinal direction, and a packing material 8 is arranged at least on one longitudinal connecting end face 7 of the block main body 2 along a peripheral surface of the drainage canal 3 excluding its upper part or a part of the same.
