PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe slit structure having high drain capability and capable of preventing occurrence of play, preventing a heel of high-heeled shoes from dropping, and preventing injection onto a road surface from a slit even in cleaning of the inside of a side ditch by high pressure water in the road side ditch with the upper face slit of various types. SOLUTION: A drop lid side ditch is provided with a plurality of haunches along an inner wall from corner angles in a lid hooking part of a side ditch main body, keeps a fixed condition on a bottom face and at both corners of the bottom face while stored with play when setting a lid, and is put by preventing play. A portal free gradient side ditch is provided with an opening hooking a lid on an upper face and both sides between fixed boards by engaging cuts provided on the left and right on both sides of the lid with haunches on the left and right of both side upper fringe faces in the opening, is fixed on a bottom face and at four corners while stored with play when setting the lid, and is put by preventing play. The side ditch has a structure in which water drops and is drained like a crank through an intermediate step at a shallow position of a lip part in any of slit on an upper face, a slit in a continuous condition, and a continuous slit.
