PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit building easy in modification and enlargement of layout, and to provide its construction method. SOLUTION: In the unit building constructed by installing a plurality of building units 4 in a building body 10, the building body 10 is composed of a roof 3, and a structure column 2 erected on a foundation 1 and for supporting the outer peripheral part of the roof 3 from downward. The building unit 4 is made a box shape attaching at least any one of a wall, a floor and a ceiling at need, and installed on flat foundation 1a of the inside of the building body 10 or an earth floored room.
